AimShort policy
Privacy notice
Effective July 16, 2026
This notice explains the information AimShort handles when you use the dashboard, create short links, or visit an AimShort-powered short link.
Information we handle
- Account information: your email address, optional name, authentication records, and session information.
- Content you provide: workspace, campaign and client names; destination URLs; custom domains; UTM values; link titles; and related configuration.
- Redirect analytics: click time, country supplied by the edge network, referrer hostname, and broad device class. AimShort does not store an IP address in its click-event or click-rollup records.
- Service information: operational logs and error details needed to secure, troubleshoot, and operate the service.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, provide and secure links and custom domains, redirect visitors, generate QR assets and analytics, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
Cookies and authentication
AimShort uses a session cookie after magic-link sign-in so the dashboard can keep you authenticated. Short-link visitors do not need an AimShort account.
Service providers and disclosure
AimShort runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, including Workers, D1, Email, DNS, and custom-hostname services. Those providers may process network and service data on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.
Retention and control
We retain account and product records while needed to provide the service and retain operational and analytics records as needed for security, troubleshooting, and product analytics. Retention automation is still being developed. Owners of isolated workspaces can export or permanently delete their workspace and sign-in account from the dashboard. Platform-workspace users and anyone requesting correction or operator help can email support@aimshort.com. We may retain limited records outside the product database when legally required or necessary to address abuse and security incidents.
Security and changes
We use access controls and other technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Material updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
